It took hundreds of years for us to break shackles of slavery. People of the country celebrate this festival every year with great pomp and show.  

 

Nasr Pre Primary  also celebrated  this festival every year. For this year, we had a show put up by the Nursery where they dressed up as freedom fighters and told us the slogans of their struggle towards freedom.

The PP-I performed a colourful song and dance on a medley of freedom songs.

The PP-II sang 'Aye Watan Aye Watan 'dressed up in a tricolor attire and exibited the duties of a dutiful citizen.

 

At Nasr Khairtabad The School Choir sang 'Taqat watan ki' all marching their way to the podium like young soldiers and rendering a delightful rendtion of the song .
